The News and Editorial Development team serves as both a campus-based news bureau and Brown’s most direct connection to the external news media and the range of audiences that today’s news media serves.

Our team of writers and communications managers works on a beat structure with a focus on the life sciences, physical sciences, humanities and social sciences, student life, University initiatives, and community impact. We serve as Brown’s campus-based news bureau that disseminates news, features and multimedia content, and the News from Brown website serves as our primary platform. We welcome and encourage story pitches and news tips at any point.
