What We Do

OUC serves as a strategic partner and guide for identifying effective communications and event solutions that elevate and advance the mission of Brown. We lead and steward high-impact strategic projects and also work with campus partners to develop cohesive, tailored communications to meet engagement goals across a wide range of audiences.

We collaborate with campus partners — and across our team’s domains of expertise — to identify integrated strategies and tools. And we value a team approach in all that we do. When working with campus colleagues, we marry your priorities and knowledge of your constituencies with our professional experience in developing communications strategies aligned with established goals. We also ensure that colleagues remain active contributors to solutions we develop together, from start to finish.

The Brown Alumni Magazine (BAM) exists to maintain the relationship between Brown and the extended Brown community, including alumni and others interested in Brown. Alums have shared over the generations that the BAM is the No. 1 way they feel an ongoing connection with their alma mater.
